Our third Local Partner of 2023 is…. Stray Pulse!

Stray Pulse are a team of volunteer animal rescuers based in the Megara region of Western Attica. They receive daily calls about abandoned, stray and injured animals in need of rescue. The team provide veterinary treatment, medication, food and sanctuary to dogs, cats, horses and donkeys. Stray Pulse also find foster and forever homes for animals they’ve rescued. You may remember the story from last year, of a donkey who was cruelly dragged behind a truck and sadly had to be euthanised. Stray Pulse organised the donkey’s rescue and got him medical attention. They have also recently rescued another donkey, Zacharoulis, who was found starving and abused, with one of his legs cut off. Stray Pulse have had a prosthetic limb professionally made and fitted for him, to restore his quality of life and help him live happily and pain free!
