PRIMARY SCHOOL – GRADE 1
First approved by the Ministry of Education and the Institute of Education in November 2019, and reapproved this year, our series of specially designed animal welfare lessons for Year 1 of primary school (6-7-year olds) are packed with activities and games that enrich knowledge and understanding.
The lively illustrations engage the emotions, which is widely recognised as the first step on the road to compassion. We also know that every child that is taught to respect animals and provide for them responsibly will one day play a part in transforming attitudes in Greece.
These lesson plans are freely and easily available for teachers to use in every state school in Greece.

PRIMARY SCHOOL – GRADE 2:
In October 2020, the Greek Ministry of Education and Institute of Education gave us formal approval for Grade 2, which continues with the theme of “Activities for the development of animal empathy”, with some engaging YouTube video links, other free web content and colourful graphics to make them fun and engaging.
These will now (along with Grade 1) be made freely and easily available for teachers to use in every state school in Greece for the school year 2020-2021.

PRIMARY SCHOOL – GRADE 3:
In December 2021, we received approval from the Ministry of Education for our new material for the grade 3. Our lesson plans are intended to cover a full year’s worth of material for the Flexible Zone lesson in the 3rd grade, enriching at the same time the knowledge students gain from the corresponding unit of Environmental Studies. The teacher can use the material for a single quarter or for the whole year.
