The success of each cooperation depends on a good relationship that is based in trust, mutual values and mutual targets. In early 2023, our partner Hellenic Society for Equine Welfare (E.S.P.I.) contacted us to let us know that a sponsor they had for the last years was not anymore able to help them with a funding.
(E.S.P.I. was founded in 2007, in order to protect and treat horses from abuse, abandonment, and cruelty, to alleviate their pain with love and care and to educate Greek citizens on their proper care and handling.)
We have a long-standing relationship and cooperation with ESPI, working together for rescuing equines, lobbying the government and exchanging expertise on equine welfare and legislation, so our immediate response was to try and help them get out of this difficult situation with a donation, that could help them cover part of the enormous expenses they face annually for the rescued equines they keep.
Our donation was received with gratitude from the volunteers of the Hellenic Society for Equine Welfare and it was spent on vaccinating 15 equines with their annual booster for tetanus and flu, and 2 more with their first double dose. We are happy that we have contributed to these animals’ welfare and supported our partner in a case of need.
