Animal Action Greece Hellas and Ippothesis are very pleased to announce that the Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food has issued a circular to Greek Police Authorities clarifying the ‘code of practice’ for the welfare of horses, donkeys and mules (Equids). This will help enforcement of welfare standards for animals against those who don’t abide by the law. We have campaigned for this for a long time, collecting over 12,000 signatures on a petition submitted to the responsible Government ministers back in January, 2018.
