Despite the heatwaves in July, we kept our promise to sponsor the sterilisation of 40 Syros cats every single month in collaboration with the We Live Together clinic.

 

The local community helped identify three main feeding spots, which allowed the team to trap, neuter and release more than 40 cats! With cats producing, on average, 4 healthy kittens per litter, July’s sterilisation efforts have prevented approximately 160 kittens being born onto the streets.

 

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and continued hard work of of the We Live Together team, a significant portion of Chroussa’s cats have now been sterilised, which will have a real impact on future numbers
