We launched a microsite!

The Community Cat Care Project on the islands of Paros and Antiparos, launched in March 2023, aims to address the severe suffering faced by the islands’ stray cats due to overpopulation.

Thanks to the generous support of UK organisation Battersea Dogs & Cats Home through their Global Programmes initiative, and in collaboration with the islands’ municipalities and local animal welfare groups, including Cats of Antiparos, Cats Eden, Paroscat, PAWS (Paros Animal Welfare Society), and FEP Vet Centre—we are making significant strides in supporting the cats on these islands.

In a recent development, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a dedicated microsite to support this project, providing a comprehensive platform for all things cat welfare in the Paros and Antiparos community!

This microsite serves as a one-stop shop for valuable resources and information for residents, visitors, and supporters alike. Whether you’re looking to learn about our TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) efforts, report unneutered cats, or find ways to get involved, the microsite has it all.

The microsite is currently available in English, and a Greek version is on its way to ensure full accessibility for our local community.

We’d love your input to make the microsite even better! Whether you’re passionate about writing, have valuable tips to share, or want to suggest content ideas, we’d be thrilled to hear from you. Please reach out to Isa at isa@animalactiongreece.org to get involved.

Visit the microsite today to explore resources, report unneutered cats, and discover how you can help us create a brighter future for the cats of Paros and Antiparos.
