In the spirit of our commitment to reducing the risk of climate related events and disasters, AAG is thrilled to share a heart-warming collaboration with Paros Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our supporters, including the support of Zooplus and its customers who donated to our emergency appeal, a significant enhancement has been made to the shelter’s facilities. With a recent donation, the ceilings of their cat houses, isolation facility, and training centre have been properly insulated. This means the shelter will provide warmth and comfort during the extreme chill winter months, and a cool, welcoming environment during the scorching summer days.
Your support has transformed these cat houses into sanctuaries, shielding the cats from the harsh weather.
I wish to say a big thank you to AAG for your support to PAWS, by providing this very welcome improvement to our facilities,” Said Ray Fellows from PAWS.
Earlier in the year we funded the purchase of a new cat house designed specifically for sick cats, ensuring a safe and insulated space for their treatment and recovery. The addition of isolation cages which were donated by a shelter in Germany has created a first-class isolation and recovery facility for the cats. It was also insulated and can be used in summer and winter.
The initiative is not just about providing shelter; it’s a testament to our ongoing commitment to supporting animal rescues in Greece to respond to the challenges posed by climate change and extreme weather events.

Thank you for your on-going support and for being a part of this journey with us.
